My organs were about to go on a protest after weeks of indulging in burgers, fries, and all the fast food. They said they needed something fresh or they might stop working. I got startled, and of course, I needed to listen to my organs, haha. So, I decided I need something lighter, healthier, but still satisfying. Taste is very important to me, my friend.
That begins my acai bowl tour across Dublin’s hotspots: Toca Tapioca House, Roots Acai, Ten 10 Acai & Coffee Santry, and Urban Health. Each bowl had its own personality: creamy, fruity, fresh, colorful, and full of textures. By the end of my tour, I felt refreshed, energized, and surprisingly full.
My organs were lecturing me about how healthy foods can absolutely be delicious. And I can’t help but agree with them. This journey wasn’t just about food: it was a reminder that sometimes, the foods that can make you feel good inside can be the tastiest food you’ve ever had.
Acai Bowl Dublin
Acai Bowl Dublin– Toca Tapioca House
For my first stop, I went to Toca Tapioca House at 49 Fleet St, Temple Bar. This place has a surprisingly 4.8 rating with 2,116 Reviews on Google and a 4.1 rating with 38 reviews on TripAdvisor. My friend and I had to check if they really are worthy of the hype and the praise they get. Spoiler? They do.
It’s a little busy in the morning around 9 am. They have beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with classic vibes. The brown bricks and black decorative combo with teal green create a relaxing atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to read your book while sipping coffee, as the noise is moderate and mostly quiet here. Also, every spot here is Instagram-worthy. So, if you love to take pictures, you’d love it here.

We started with their perfect coffee and churro cake. Trust me, almost every table had this one. Espresso comes out in these really cool little cups. The Brazilian Acai bowl was amazing, I ate every bite of mine. The portion size is huge, and every chunk is delicious. The ingredients were fresh and organic, which makes you feel every penny is worth spending here. The dishes are really colorful and attractive. My friend loved his Casablanca bowl. It was really savory and flavorful.
A special thanks to Nathan, our server, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. He made excellent recommendations and was monitoring that everything was perfect till the end. Be sure to ask for Nathan if you want top-notch service!
Nice music playing in the background to create a great vibe to start your day. I highly recommend Toca Tapioca House if you want a good Acai bowl in Dublin with an amazing vibe. The food, service, and ambiance- everything is so great here. No wonder they are so popular.
Roots Açaí
My second Acai Bowl trip spot was Roots Açaí at 30 Drury St, Dublin. Checked on Google beforehand, and it has a 4.4 rating with 181 reviews. Everyone was talking about how good their Acai bowl and the coffee were. It’s a good place for a quick visit. Also, a viral menu? Time to check it out.
The restaurant from the outside looks like an old Disney movie cafe- a beautiful silvery white and pink color combination. The inside is a cozy, comforting interior. Cloud lanterns hanging from the ceiling at the counter and the mix of off white and brick walls will immediately relax you. There is a little crowd, but that just says how good their coffee and food are. You can watch people walking in the streets while sipping your coffee sitting inside, which is something really relaxing sometimes. As we take a break and take a look at our surroundings.

The Acai bowl is really delicious. They have many topping options. You can choose a base like acai or another fruit sorbet, 2 dry toppings, 2 fruits, and a sauce with the granola, which is great because usually you can’t get so many toppings for the price. It was super fresh, perfectly balanced, and topped with the most delicious ingredients. Everything tasted amazing- refreshing, healthy, and just what I needed. Tried their viral marshmallow bomb, and it was absolutely incredible! The rich flavor of the cream and marshmallows was simply unbeatable. And I get why there was a huge line for coffee because their coffee tastes out of this world.
Their hospitality was so warm and endearing. They were so friendly, taking their precious time to chat about our days. Ariana is so sweet because she even recommended some shopping places to me. It felt like we had known each other for so long. This type of service really makes you want to go back.
If you want to start your day in a good mood or end your day with some relaxation, then I highly recommend Roots Acai Dublin. Their fresh and delicious Acai bowls would just fill up your heart, and their aromatic and therapeutic coffee would rinse away your whole exhaustion. Guys, I think I’ve found my go-to cafe. It’s time for you to check it out as well.
Ten 10 Acai and coffee, Santry
My next amazing stop was Ten 10 Acai and coffee sanctuary at Shanowen Rd, Whitehall, Dublin. This place has 4.5 stars and 237 Google Reviews and on TripAdvisor. I randomly stumbled upon it on a social media reel. The place and the food looked so vibrant that it pulled me here like a magnet.
The beautiful outdoor blue decor seating made me feel like I was in Greece. They don’t have any inside seating. It’s basically like a food truck where they serve you the food. You can sit under the shade, too. But I was enjoying my winter sunny vibes. Plus, the scene is enjoyable. I got some nice Instagram-worthy pictures of myself.

Their Nutty Strawberry Acai Bowl with peanut butter and Pancakes with Nutella and Strawberries are famous. So, we had to get them. The bowl was fresh, organic, and yummy. The balance between strawberries and peanut butter was amazing. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery. Perfect for a holiday breakfast where you just wanna sit down, chill, and enjoy your delicious food.
The service, I’d say, was a bit slow. The staff were friendly and funny though. But we had to wait 15 minutes for the coffee. Some other regulars also said- it happens often. I think they should speed up a bit, as the taste of their food and the atmosphere are really worth the money.
The atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. The Acai bowls were so colorful, creamy, and fruity. The pancakes were a nice delight, too. I would recommend Ten 10 Acai and Coffee Santry if you want 10/10 coffee and an Acai Bowl. Also, must if you’re not in a hurry but planning for a relaxing day out or just a holiday breakfast.
Urban Health
For the last and final stop for my Acai Bowl adventure all around Dublin, we have Urban Health at 9 Charleston Rd, Ranelagh, Dublin. The place holds a good rating of 4.5 stars with 271 reviews on Google and on TripAdvisor. Let’s see if it can compete with my other Acai Bowl experiences.
From the outside, it looks like a prestigious English cafe. But inside, it’s beautifully decorated with leafy green and white bohemian interiors. They have both outside and inside seating. You can choose wherever you want to sit. There isn’t that much of a crowd either which made me realize that this place is a hidden gem.
I went there with a friend for brunch- and guess what? It’s the perfect place for brunch. They have many healthy options with different varieties, which is really nice.

We ordered their Acai Bowl, Salmon Bowl, and coffee. The Acai Bowl was colorful. And the ingredients were absolutely farm fresh. The Salmon bowl was surprisingly amazing and mouth-filling. It was light and rich in taste at the same time. I might come back here again for their Salmon bowl only. The coffee was great, too.
Julieta was super attentive, making sure every customer felt well taken care of. Their friendly service doubles the charm of this place. My friend and I both felt so comfortable.
I’d highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place that serves amazing healthy food with delicious taste at a very reasonable price. Urban Health Dublin should be your gateway for brunch or any time to catch up with your friends. Guys, I think I just found my new favorite.
Verdict of The Bowl
My Acai Bowl adventure, as expected, went amazingly. It was a refreshing experience after taking a break from eating fast food to learning how healthy bowls can be heavenly tasty. If I never tried, I’d never know.
From Toca Tapioca House to Urban Health, each place had its own story, flavor, and experience- crunchy granola, creamy blend, fresh fruits, and colors that made me want to take ten pictures before eating. By the end, I was full and refreshed. If you ever feel like going healthy without giving up on flavor, these acai bowls totally have your back. I can assure you, Acai bowl Dublin isn’t the one you can be disappointed in.
